Core Spaces

Marc Lifshin is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Core Spaces. In this position, he oversees the company’s objectives and strategy and focuses on cultivating a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Lifshin also founded LG Development Group, which developed residential and commercial properties. That company launched a student-housing platform as well; the multifamily, hospitality and student housing divisions are known today as Core Spaces.

Lifshin co-founded Camp Out for Kids in 2008, a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for underprivileged youth to attend summer camp. He is also a Board Member of Northwestern Memorial Foundation and Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Chicago.

He earned a B.S. with a major in General Engineering and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

These are some of the reasons why Marc Lifshin was selected to receive ApartmentBuildings.com’s first annual AB 100 Developer of the Year Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate creativity, skill and success in the multifamily industry.
