As Monday Properties’ Senior Vice President, Development, Frank Craighill manages all phases of the development process, from initial underwriting and programming to entitlements, design, and construction. Since 2018, Craighill has expanded the firm’s development pipelines in targeted markets along the eastern seaboard, including the greater Washington, DC area, Connecticut and South Carolina.

Craighill also works with Monday Properties’ acquisitions team to source new opportunities for multifamily developments, like Harbor Landing and 75 Tresser in Stamford, CT.

He has over a decade of experience managing complex commercial real estate development projects, totaling over $1.3 billion. Most recently, he oversaw the development and delivery of the 300-unit, Class A multifamily Blake in Alexandria, VA.

He is an active member of the Rosslyn BID Urban Design Committee Board, the Northern Virginia Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and the Urban Land Institute. For his achievements, Craighill was named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 50 Under 40 List.

He earned his MBA with a concentration in finance from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

These are some of the reasons why Frank Craighill was selected to receive ApartmentBuildings.com’s first annual AB 100 Developer of the Year Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate creativity, skill and success in the multifamily industry.
