Brian Oates, RangeWater Real Estate
Brian Oates is the Executive Managing Director of Development at RangeWater Real Estate. He manages the division’s construction and development teams from the pre-construction phase through lease-up of completed projects. Prior to his current position, Oates was a RangeWater project developer, where he completed over 2,000 units at a cost of more than $400 million. Today, he handles active projects consisting of more than 5,500 units and totaling over $1.5 billion in value.
An active member of the Urban Land Institute’s Atlanta chapter, Oates graduated from its Center for Leadership program. He earned a B.S. in Management with a concentration in finance and land development from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
These are some of the reasons why Brian Oates was selected to receive ApartmentBuildings.com’s first annual AB 100 Developer of the Year Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate creativity, skill and success in the multifamily industry.
