Ben Shaoul, Thrive Living
Ben Shaoul is a principal with Magnum Real Estate Group, which he founded in 1997 as a vertically integrated real estate company.
Shaoul established Thrive Living as an affiliate of Magnum to develop affordable and workforce housing. Since its founding in 2022, Thrive Living has constructed ground-up residential rental and for-sale apartments, adaptive reuse and historic conversions.
Shaoul and his wife are involved with several Jewish community groups. He also sits on the Hudson River Park Friends’ Board of Directors, a non-profit dedicated to the completion, care, and enhancement of Hudson River Park on the West side of Manhattan.
These are some of the reasons why Ben Shaoul was selected to receive ApartmentBuildings.com’s first annual AB 100 Developer of the Year Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate creativity, skill and success in the multifamily industry.
