Shimon Shkury and Victor Sozio, Ariel Property Advisors
In 2011, Shimon Shkury, Victor Sozio and two others launched Ariel Property Advisors, a NYC-based commercial real estate firm specializing in investment sales, capital services and research. The affordable housing practice, led by Shkury and Sozio, has closed over 340 buildings valued at more than $3.5 billion since the firm’s inception.
Deals include Tredway’s $88-million acquisition of the 602-unit Ocean Park Apartments, an affordable housing asset in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY.
Ariel Property Advisors is committed to promoting social responsibility and community values central to the firm’s business. In addition to promoting prosperity responsibly in the neighborhoods in which it operates, the company gives back through direct investment, volunteer opportunities and support of charities, nonprofits and CRE industry organizations.
