Hessam Nadji, Marcus & Millichap
As president and CEO of Marcus & Millichap, Hessam Nadji oversees a company that arguably executes on more multifamily investment sales transactions per year than any other. In 2024, Marcus & Millichap again ranked as the leading broker by transaction count across North America, totaling nearly 8,000 deals with apartments comprising a sizable share.
Nadji joined the company in 1996 as VP of research and advisory services and had served in a variety of roles by the time he was selected to lead the company 20 years later. Among them was chief marketing officer, overseeing all specialty division sales, launching the company’s institutional services division (IPA), and leading its IPO in 2013 as chief strategy officer. Today, Nadji is widely recognized as a voice of the commercial real estate sector, frequently quoted as an industry trends spokesperson in major media, including CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, the Wall Street Journal and various real estate publications.
