Joe Koicim is a leading commercial real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap in Manhattan and a founding partner of the New York Multifamily Group. He is an expert in urban investment sales, focusing on emerging and established markets throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2004, Koicim has closed more than $3 billion in New York City commercial real estate transactions. His notable sales include a 71-unit portfolio in the East Village, an 86-unit elevator building in Clinton Hill and a 78,000-square-foot mixed-use assemblage in Williamsburg. He also led the $132-million sale of a 16-building portfolio across Manhattan and Brooklyn, among numerous other high-profile transactions in Midtown West, Chelsea and the Upper West Side.

He has been featured in Real Estate Forum magazine and quoted in several leading trade publications. Koicim is a frequent guest on The Stoler Report: Real Estate Trends and is known for his market insights.

Koicim earned Marcus & Millichap’s National Achievement Award and Sales Recognition Awards and has been named to the company Chairman’s Circle of Excellence and Chairman’s Club. He was recognized among the Commercial Observer’s “Top 30 Under 30” brokers.
