Pejman (Pej) Razavilar is a partner in Weil’s Real Estate practice and is based in New York and Miami. Razavilar focuses his practice on corporate real estate, including complex joint ventures, real estate platforms and real estate finance. He represents both the “money” and “sponsor” side of real estate transactions and has significant experience at all levels of the real estate private equity capital stack. He also has significant experience in various forms of acquisitions and dispositions, as well as formation and structuring of Qualified Opportunity Funds and Qualified Opportunity Zone Businesses.

Razavilar also advises clients on the formation, structuring and recapitalization of real estate operating companies/platforms, programmatic joint venture arrangements and real estate investment funds and other investment vehicles.

Notable deals include forming a sponsor operating company arrangement between the former head of The Carlyle Group’s New York real estate transactions group and an institutional international multibillion dollar conglomerate. He’s also represented Atco Properties and Colony NorthStar in multiple transactions.

Razavilar is recognized for Real Estate in New York by Super Lawyers.
