As Partner with Burr & Forman LLP’s Hilton Head, SC office, Tim Zwerner represents clients in a broad range of business transactions. His real estate practice focuses on representing developers, sponsors, investors and lenders in complex commercial real estate opportunities with a particular emphasis on developments, acquisitions and dispositions, joint-ventures, lease-ups, and financing. He works in the multi-family/single-family rental, agricultural, retail and hospitality industries. In addition, Zwerner works with founders and investors in emerging and growth-stage technology companies throughout various industries.
Zwerner has aided commercial real estate transactions in excess of $2 billion, advised on dozens of venture financings and worked on M&A deals from less than $1 million to more than $150 million. He is passionate about working with local entrepreneurs and regional developers who are making a positive impact in the local community and helping them to scale their business and expand their footprint.
He’s been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. Zwerner’s community service includes serving as a local advisory board member for Synovus Bank, working with the Heritage Golf Tournament and participating as VentureSouth’s Chapter Leader.
