Steven DeFrancis, Cortland
As Cortland’s founder and leader, Steven DeFrancis has over three decades of experience with complex multifamily development and management, specializing in unique development and value-add opportunities. Under his leadership, Cortland has become a global, vertically integrated company that operates in several U.S. markets and the United Kingdom.
He is active with several industry organizations, including the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute. DeFrancis is also involved with the Buckhead Coalition and is a board member of the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership.
DeFrancis obtained his B.S. in Real Estate from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
