Matt Konrad, Aimco
Matt Konrad, Aimco’s Senior Vice President, National Transactions, oversees national acquisitions and dispositions and development and construction activities in the northeastern United States. Since joining Aimco in 2017, Konrad acquired property worth over $900 million in greater Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, DC and Miami, FL on behalf of the company. Two-thirds of the transactions were off-market.
Konrad’s deal structures have included joint ventures, original partnership units, and entity purchases. He has led acquisition efforts for over $2.2 billion of transactions, including 750,000 square feet of commercial space, 4,100 residential units, and 4.2 million square feet of development.
Before coming to Aimco, Konrad worked for Brandywine Realty Trust and Akridge, a Washington, DC-based developer.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA from Georgetown University.
