Jonathan F. P. Rose, Jonathan Rose Companies LLC
In 1989, Mr. Rose founded Jonathan Rose Companies LLC and currently serves as its president. Rose Companies develops affordable and mixed-income housing and is one of the largest buyers of this product type in the United States.
Rose and his wife co-founded the Garrison Institute. He serves as Chair of the Board and of the Bhutan Urban and Regional Planning Global Advisory Committee. He is a trustee of Enterprise Community Partners.
He also authored a book, “The Well-Tempered City: What Modern Science, Ancient Civilizations and Human Nature Teach Us About the Future of Urban Life,” which won the PROSE Award for Outstanding Scholarly Work by a Trade Publisher.
Rose received the Enterprise Community Partners, James W. Rouse Civic Medal of Honor, the Urban Land Institute’s Prize for Visionaries in Urban Development and The Order of the Beloved of the Thunder Dragon by His Majesty, The King of Bhutan.
