As M&T Realty Capital Corporation’s General Counsel, Ramona (Mona) Mahoney led the firm’s real estate team in closing financial transactions nationwide. With help from her experience in finance, equity investment and real estate, Mahoney has worked with clients on financing for properties including affordable and market-rate multifamily, seniors housing, healthcare facilities, and office, industrial, and retail properties. She has helped negotiate financing options including Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac Optigo, FHA/HUD Healthcare, FHA/HUD Multifamily and Life insurance company Conduit (CMBS).

Her community endeavors include serving on the board of ACC National Capital Region. Mahoney also was a member of the Fannie Mae Colleague Advisory Council.

These are some of the reasons why we are honoring Mona Mahoney with Connect CRE’s 2022 Washington DC Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
