Alain R’bibo, a partner in the Century City office of Allen Matkins and co-chair of that office’s real estate group, frequently serves as lead counsel on some of the largest and most complex real estate deals on the West Coast and the country. In recent years, R’bibo has successfully negotiated and closed approximately $3 billion in acquisitions and dispositions and has represented landlords and tenants in structuring and negotiating office, retail, and industrial leases totaling several millions of square feet for properties across the country.
His diverse group of clients ranges from private individuals and closely-held entities to REITs, pension funds and institutional owners and investors. Notable deals include representation of Preylock holdings in build-to-suit leasing and development transaction opposite Amazon. He also represented Hines in numerous purchase and sale and joint venture transactions for development sites across Southern California valued at over $2 billion and serving as outside real estate counsel to Tesla.
R’bibo has authored many articles. He serves on the Board of UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate, is a member of the Jewish Federation Real Estate & Construction Network and the UCLA Real Estate Alumni group, is an accredited LEED® Green Associate, and has been named to Southern California Super Lawyers.
