Christopher Gorman currently serves as co-chair of Duval & Stachenfeld Real Estate Group, leading one of the largest real estate law practices in New York. Gorman has extensive experience in helping clients on acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, financing, restructuring and developments across all commercial real estate asset classes. His clients span the real estate industry, and include financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, developers and private equity funds. In total, he has led hundreds of transactions involving tens of billions of dollars of real estate over his career.

One notable deal focused on leading a Duval & Stachenfeld team of attorneys in advising a global alternative asset investment firm on the sale of its $180-million-plus interest in a senior living community. Gorman also led a team in advising a client with $1 billion in assets under management on a complex real estate joint venture with a new sponsor.

Gorman has been recognized by Super Lawyers in the New York Metro and as a Rising Star, New York Metro.
