Philip Hastings is Shareholder and Director of Cleveland, Waters & Bass in Concord, NH. His practice centers on real estate development and finance, land use and zoning, and commercial lending and transactions. He counsels clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, including due diligence, local and state permitting and entitlements, entity formation and structuring, and financing. Hastings’ practice also includes real estate leases, condominium law, environmental law, conservation and historic preservation easements, like-kind exchanges, property tax and forest management, and complex residential transactions.

He’s recently been involved with various large-scale mixed use, multifamily residential, resort community and solar energy developments; a number of commercial purchases and sales; several condominium conversion projects; and the leasing of retail and office space. As an authorized agent for several national title insurance companies, he is also a member and director of Granite State Title Services, LLC.

Hastings is a noted legal author who has been recognized by Best Lawyers. He is an American Bar Foundation Fellow, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and served executive positions with the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.
