Helped NGC originate over $2.5 billion in financing
With company, achieved milestones including the first C-PACE financed multifamily transaction in Pennsylvania
Kate Cusack is the Managing Director, Head of Production for Nuveen Green Capital. Her 45 commercial real estate professionals work with building owners, developers, contractors and other industry leaders to improve their business returns using Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE). Cusack combines her real estate loan finance expertise with the mission of bringing clean energy solutions to commercial property owners.
Her leadership has helped NGC maintain its leadership position within the C-PACE industry. NGC has originated over $2.5 billion to date while achieving notable milestones, including closing the second largest C-PACE financed transaction in the U.S., $190 million for the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. NGC also handled the first C-PACE financed multifamily deal, the largest C-PACE financing deal in Pennsylvania, and the largest C-PACE financing deal in Texas.
Cusack helps ensure NGC recruits and retains a diverse staff while building NGC’s mentoring culture. She helped launch and lead a “Women of NGC” group. A talented speaker, she recently moderated a Denver CRE event and was a guest on a podcast, “Financing the Future of Energy.”
These are a few reasons why Kate Cusack is among the National Connect CRE 2024 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
