Led Realterm’s $532-million co-investment capital raise

As director of capital Markets for North America, Christy Gahr leads Realterm’s capital raising across the region and supports the firm’s product development and capital strategy initiatives.
In 2023, Gahr led Realterm’s $532-million co-investment capital raise, part of a larger $1.2-billion portfolio recapitalization of a large set of assets alongside heavy hitter JPMorgan. This 61-asset industrial portfolio included vital logistics infrastructure like truck terminals and drayage yards.
Gahr founded the Women in Real Estate (WIRE) Austin, TX chapter and serves on the organization’s board. She also serves on the conference committee of the Pension Real Estate Association. Gahr was the first in her family to graduate from college.
Gahr is seen by her peers as a consummate team player and thought leader pushing the firm forward in launching new fund strategies and expanding into new geographies and asset classes.
