The company has delivered 1,200 apartment units

As Founder and CEO of Neology Group, Lissette M. Calderon leads Miami’s longest-running female-founded development firm. She oversees all aspects of development, construction, and property management in-house, with a focus on lifestyle-driven residential and commercial projects. Her responsibilities include identifying and transforming undervalued communities, spearheading financing and deal structuring, and guiding the company’s vision of delivering attainable luxury housing.

Calderon has led transformative developments in Miami, including: The Julia Residences (323 units), which reached 95% occupancy in record time; Fourteen Main Street Residences (237 units), completed in 2025, which secured a $64-million refinancing and leased 55% of units within 90 days; No. 17 Residences (192 units), refinanced for $67 million; and Pier 19 Residences, which secured a $54.5-million loan. Her portfolio now represents more than 1,200 apartments delivered, 1,350 units in pre-development and a $2-billion+ pipeline across South Florida.

Calderon founded Neology Group in 2000 and has served as its CEO for 25 years. She has built the company from the ground up into a vertically integrated real estate firm.

These are just a few reasons Lissette Calderon is among the Florida & Gulf Coast Connect CRE 2025 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
