Jennifer Carter, Vice President of Airport Affairs at Realterm, oversees leasing and business development strategy for 17 million square feet of airport facilities across 37 North American locations. Her responsibilities include developing multi-year growth plans for national accounts within Realterm’s Airport Infrastructure platform, leading reviews and implementation for asset redevelopment or repositioning, and working with airport partners on ground-lease extension opportunities.

Carter is also a voting member of the Aeroterm Investment Committee, approving all potential company transactions.

During her 18 years with Realterm, Carter has been involved in over 3,000 lease agreements, encompassing more than 35.4 million square feet of space and securing $1.46 billion in contract revenue. She played an essential role in the development of Realterm’s $270 million, 350,000-square-foot JFK Modern Air Cargo Facility. She took the lead in the firm’s multi-year, $250 million overhaul of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport assets.

Carter participates in Realterm’s Analyst Program, which exposes junior financial analysts to all aspects of the real estate private equity business and connects them with the company’s senior leaders. She is developing a formal mentor program at Realterm to pair junior staff with senior professionals.

As a member of the Women’s Leadership Work Group, Carter contributes to advancing women’s roles at the firm and in the industry. She sits on the Airports Council International’s Air Cargo Committee.
