As a Partner with Miami-based Bilzin Sumberg’s real estate practice, one of Florida’s largest and most prolific, Alexandra Lehson specializes in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including complex commercial financing on behalf of borrowers and lenders, acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. Lehson has expanded the firm’s lender-side representation practice, while also advising top developers and property owners on some of Florida’s most sophisticated real estate finance matters.

Lehson also serves on Bilzin Sumberg’s Legal Opinions Committee, where she reviews and approves legal opinions for Bilzin Sumberg’s finance transactions.

Notable highlights include serving as PMG’s transactional counsel in obtaining $107.5 million in construction financing for Waldorf Astoria Residences Denver Cherry Creek. She represented a large investment management company in its $116.8-million acquisition and $59-million financing of a six-building multifamily luxury and workforce housing project.

Lehson is an active leader within the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, serving in many different roles. She is currently on the Jewish Volunteer Committee Board and serving on the host committee for Sunset Over Miami, GMJF’s real estate professional event.

She has been recognized by Chambers USA (Banking & Finance), Best Lawyers (Best Lawyers in America, Real Estate Law) and Connect CRE (Lawyers in Real Estate). Lehsen also received accolades from the South Florida Business Journal (40 Under 40), the Daily Business Review (On the Rise recognition), and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation (Sandra C. Goldstein Young Leadership Award).
