Catherine Burns is the co-chair of Seyfarth Shaw’s national Development practice and leads the Boston Real Estate practice. She oversees a team of partners, counsel, and associates who span the full gamut of Seyfarth’s Real Estate platform, including development, acquisitions, and dispositions, as well as real estate finance and leasing.

Burns represents real estate funds, developers, owners, and operators, while offering trusted counsel on joint venture formation and restructuring, acquisition, development, and financing, as well as portfolio transactions and leasing matters. For example, she has worked with a Boston-based private equity firm for close to a decade, handling more than 100 acquisition, financing and development projects.        

Burns chairs a private roundtable discussion at Greenpearl’s Annual Real Estate Women’s Forum and has served on the Board of Directors and Building Committee of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.
