Is working to strengthen investor relationships

Caitlin Crowe is Walker & Dunlop’s Head of Proprietary Funds, Affordable Housing Equity Relations. She is responsible for growing the company’s proprietary fund platform while cultivating and stewarding key investor relationships.

When she joined the company 1.5 years ago, Crowe was charged with reinvigorating the company’s proprietary equity platform. She is rebuilding the group’s structure, strengthening investor relationships, and positioning the platform as a central driver of the firm’s affordable housing strategy.

She played a role in the launch of Fund 122, Walker & Dunlop’s inaugural equity partnership with Freddie Mac. The fund will support property development nationwide, including the construction of affordable housing units.

She is deeply committed to supporting affordable housing and ensuring that everyone has access to a safe and secure place to call home.

Crowe has held leadership roles at Wells Fargo, Boston Capital Corporation and Boston Financial Investment Management. While at Boston Capital, her team expanded the firm’s proprietary fund platform, growing its portfolio from 22% to 63% of the total in later years.

Crowe mentors and develops talent within the company. In the community, she serves as a Board Trustee at Berkshire Hills Music Academy (BHMA) and is a member of The Corporation at The Winsor School. These are just a few reasons Caitlin Crowe is among the Boston & New England Connect CRE 2025 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
