Anita Agajanian is a partner in DLA Piper’s Boston office. She specializes in real estate acquisition, development, finance, leasing, and construction contracts, representing property owners and investors, as well as national and regional developers, hospitals, universities, and other institutions. Her clients include office, retail, restaurant, high-tech, biotech and industrial tenants. Agajanian is a member of the Boston Hiring Committee.

Notable matters include representing Millennium Partners in the lease-up of the 840,000-square-foot Winthrop Center (Boston). She also represented Northland Investment Corporation in the development of the 23-acre, 1.1-million-square-foot Northland Newton mixed-use development project (Newton).

Agajanian is co-chair of the American Law Institute’s Modern Real Estate Transactions Conference and an active member of CREW Boston. She is a guest lecturer with the Real Estate Ventures class at the MIT Center for Real Estate. She co-chaired the Leasing Committee of the Boston Bar Association’s Real Estate Section, and mentored minority law students through the Boston Lawyers’ Group.

In the community, Agajanian is on the board of the Boston Municipal Research Bureau and the Riverside Children’s Center. She provides pro bono services to non-profits, including Kaji Aso Studio, the Suzuki School of Newton and Heading Home.

Agajanian was elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers list and recognized by the Legal 500 United States.
