Represented client in a $2-billion manufactured housing site portfolio buy

Advised a JV on its $240-million, 2,200-unit multifamily portfolio acquisition

Paul Schwartz, a Partner in the Real Estate and Joint Venture Practices at Adler & Stachenfeld, is involved with all aspects of commercial real estate law. These include joint ventures, acquisitions, sales, borrower-side financings, and restructurings. He counsels and represents landlords and tenants in large-scale office, retail, industrial, and ground lease transactions.

Notable matters include representing a buyer in three acquisitions (and eventual disposition) of a manufactured housing site portfolio located in 14 states and valued at over $2 billion. Schwartz also advised on a joint venture’s acquisition of a six-property, 2,200-unit multifamily portfolio valued at $240 million.

Schwartz is active with the firm’s internal mentoring program. He mentors Harlem junior high school students through Brothers on a New Direction (B.O.N.D.) and Girls Learning Their Own Worth (G.L.O.W.). On the pro bono front, he has assisted immigration clients with U-Visas and asylum applications, as well as small business commercial leasing and corporate services.

Additionally, Schwartz volunteers with his region’s soccer program (AYSO) and coaches his sons and their friends in Little League, travel baseball, basketball, and soccer.

These are some of the reasons why Paul Schwartz received Connect CRE’s 2025 New York & Tri-State Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
