Represented a borrower in a $78-million multifamily refinance loan

Jeffrey Kapner, co-chair of Arnold & Porter’s Real Estate practice, advises global banks and other financial institutions on real estate finance matters. He also represents private equity funds, family offices, developers, and sponsors with equity real estate transactions. Kapner has negotiated innovative terms and closed deals on behalf of owners and institutional investors for the acquisition, disposition, and financing of all property types.

Notable highlights include advising a private equity fund on the $500-million recapitalization of four Manhattan hotels. He represented the National Bank of Kuwait in its $78-million refinance loan for the 244-unit Fuse Cambridge in Massachusetts. Kapner also advised borrower Grandview Partners in the $56.3 million refinance of a South Carolina industrial park.
