Brian Lichter is co-head of Davis Polk’s Real Estate practice. He represents property owners, developers, funds, REITs and financial institutions in commercial real estate transactions.

Lichter was recently inducted into the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) and is frequently invited to speak and moderate panels at prominent real estate events.
He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and is an associate trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Lichter is a member of the Combating Antisemitism Advisory Committee and serves on the Real Estate Executive Committee of UJA-Federation of New York and is on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York.
These are some of the reasons why Brian Lichter received Connect CRE’s 2025 New York & Tri-State Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
