Assisted Empire State Development in finding alternatives to the expired 421-a program

Spearheaded conversion of 1.5 million square feet of office space to other uses

As partner and Real Estate Practice Group Leader with Holland & Knight, Stuart Saft has spearheaded notable deals in the past 12 months.

These included assisting Empire State Development in formulating and documenting alternatives to the 421-a program that expired several years ago.  He also has worked with clients in the post-pandemic arena, including high interest rates and lower financing options. He has also spearheaded the conversion of 1.5 million square feet of Manhattan office space to other uses.

This is why Stuart Saft received Connect CRE’s 2024 New York & TriState Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
