Cushman & Wakefield’s Dan Rasmussen (Vice Chairman) and partner Brian Hetherington (Vice Chairman) manage a team of six office leasing specialists located in the team’s Washington, DC office. During 2022, the team negotiated 190 transactions totaling more than 2.4 million square feet.

The team manages more than 25 million square feet of leased and owned real estate for 23 national and global clients. The team serves a variety of industries, include tech, healthcare, defense and aerospace, government contracting, non-profits and professional services firms.

One of the team’s most notable projects from 2022 involved three separate transactions in the Los Angeles area on behalf of a client that needed a new headquarters building, a back-office location and space for a clinical operation. The team helped the client close on an 80,000-square-foot lease for the headquarters facility south of Los Angeles International Airport in a fully renovated building, a 30,000-square-foot back-office consolidation in the Thousand Oaks submarket and a 50,000-square-foot clinical space in Hollywood.
