German Guevara

Among the Transwestern team, Property Manager German Guevara is known as a leader with a voracious appetite for learning everything there is to know about commercial real estate. Since joining the firm in 2017, he quickly gained the respect of his peers through his work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional service. He is arguably one of the most hands-on professionals there is, and is willing to help with any task to ensure that the client and their tenants are satisfied.

When he joined Transwestern, Guevara working closely with Rice Management Company (RMC) to service their retail assets in Houston. RMC was so impressed with his approach to customer service and ability to deliver successful results. When RMC acquired an 80-year-old Sears department store with plans to convert it into a 266,000-square-foot innovation hub called The Ion, they wanted Guevara to be part of the project.

More recently, Transwestern Development Corp. requested Guevara’s help in closing a land parcel. The owner was in another country, and a language barrier prevented TDC from reaching them. Guevara hopped on a plane to meet with the owner, shared TDC’s plan, and helped execute the sale. Since then, the seller has considered Guevara to be a trusted liaison.

Always pursuing educational opportunities, Guevara is currently reading books about commercial real estate development. Impressed by his desire to learn, RMC and TDC are mentoring him. Guevara is the 2021 recipient of Transwestern’s Legendary Service Award. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business.
