Rob Singh Oversees CONAM’s 60,000-Unit Portfolio
Rob Singh has spent more than three decades in real estate investment, including 30 years at CONAM. Before being named as CEO in 2018, Singh had acquired more than 16,000 multifamily units and helped build CONAM’s institutional investment platform. Today, the company manages more than 60,000 units nationwide.
Under Singh, CONAM evolved from a traditional multifamily operator into a vertically integrated investment, development and property-management platform. Singh also remains active in the industry.
During 2025-26, CONAM Strategic Investments Fund IV acquired The Maxwell, a 325-unit Class A community in Frisco, TX; Sonterra Apartments in Roseville, CA; and the 232-unit Alicante in Las Vegas.
CONAM is also involved with the community, partnering with charitable and nonprofit organizations and providing employees with paid time for charitable activities.
Singh serves on the executive committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council’s board, is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Building Industry Association Presidents’ Council. He is a policy advisory board member of the University of San Diego’s Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate.
These are some of the reasons why Rob Singh was selected to receive ApartmentBuildings.com’s AB 100 Developer of the Year Award, which recognizes those who demonstrate creativity, skill and success in the multifamily industry.
