Katherine Pinkard
Led the sale of her company to MCB Real Estate
Has multiple leadership roles in the community
As MCB Real Estate’s Senior Managing Director, Property Management, Katherine Pinkard leads the day-to-day operations of the property management division and helps shape the company’s broader direction. She also serves on the firm’s internal AI and ESG committees. She helped create value across a diverse portfolio of industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, retail and science-focused properties.
One of the most significant milestones of her career was leading the sale of her company, Pinkard Properties, to MCB Real Estate. She spearheaded every stage of the transaction, from negotiations and due diligence to integrating operations, staff, and clients, while continuing to oversee the day-to-day business.
Throughout her career, Pinkard paired her professional work with extensive community leadership. She recently concluded her term as Chair of the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School’s Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board and continues to serve on their Real Estate Industry Board. Pinkard also holds trustee roles at the France-Merrick Foundation, Johns Hopkins University Bayview Hospital and the Maryland Center for History and Culture. She has also been involved with leadership with the American Red Cross of the Greater Chesapeake Region.
Pinkard has been recognized by the Daily Record (Top 100 Women Circle of Excellence and Best Property Management Firm) and Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association (The Heritage Award).
These are just a few reasons Katherine Pinkard is among the Washington DC & Mid-Atlantic Connect CRE 2025 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
