Monica Luera is Vice President – Development at Trademark, bringing over 19 years of experience in commercial real estate development, due diligence, and project management to the role. She has led a wide range of development activities, including entitlements, public-private partnerships, incentive negotiations and comprehensive project management. She is currently transforming Lincoln Square into Anthem, a walkable retail and mixed-use destination, which recently secured zoning approval from the City of Arlington, TX. Her project portfolio also includes the $70-million redevelopment of Victory Park in Dallas, TX, as well as leading pre-development and entitlement efforts for several of Trademark’s projects, including regional malls, mixed-use developments, and retail projects in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Georgia and Texas.
Luera is actively engaged in community and industry leadership. She serves on the boards of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth (RECGFW), Goodwill North Central Texas, and Trademark’s Make a Difference Foundation. She is a past president of CREW Fort Worth and the Foundation Champion Director for the CREW Network Foundation.
She has been named Member of the Year by CREW Fort Worth, honored as Outstanding Young Leader of the Year by the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth in 2018, and received the Susan A. Halsey Excellence in Leadership from CREW Fort Worth.
