Chloe Smith is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mercator.ai, an AI-driven intelligence platform redefining how general contractors source, analyze and pursue opportunities. She sets the company’s strategic vision and drives growth across business development, investor relations and partnerships. Smith also oversees product innovation and execution of the go-to-market strategy.

Under Smith’s leadership, Mercator.ai raised $5 million in venture funding, grew its team by 400% in three years and achieved 4x revenue growth within five months of entering the Texas market. The company works with marquee clients, including EllisDon, Andres Construction, Bartlett Cocke and Joeris, surpassing $250,000 in annual recurring revenue within three months of launch.

In 2025, Mercator.ai launched full state coverage across Texas, creating the largest real-time construction and real estate intelligence platform powered by proprietary AI and machine learning.

Beyond the day-to-day leadership, Smith is engaged with her team, serving as a mentor to employees, hosting one-on-one mentorship sessions and leading professional development workshops. She has also brought in several external advisors and domain experts to help grow individuals on her team in a focused setting.

Smith has been recognized on Glory Media’s Top 30 Under 30 list and named Startup Alberta’s Most Promising Founder for her work in redefining construction business development through the use of AI. She’s been featured in the National Post, CNBC, The Business Journals and the Globe and Mail.
