Matters include oversight of billions in financing for healthcare real estate

Assists banks with issues, including loan workouts

Robin Freeman is co-leader of Seyfarth’s Real Estate and Healthcare Finance Group and leads the San Francisco Real Estate practice.

She represents national lenders in transactions involving skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and long-term acute care hospitals. Her practice encompasses commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing, across various sectors, such as retail, office, and industrial.

Notable matters have included oversight of billions of dollars in financing for skilled nursing and healthcare facilities nationwide. She has also assisted commercial banks in loan workouts and represents investment management companies in property acquisitions.

In the firm, Freeman drives cross-office collaboration and supports national growth initiatives. She serves on the firm’s Healthcare Group steering committee and mentors junior attorneys. She is also actively involved in the community, supporting nonprofits such as SMART and Tipping Point, and providing pro bono legal services to local arts organizations.

These are some of the reasons why Robin Freeman received Connect CRE’s 2025 California Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
