Matters include representing an art museum in its $650 million renovation
Elizabeth Levin, a partner with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, handles leasing and construction matters for companies and cultural institutions. She also focuses on health, social equity and sustainability in the built environment.
She recently closed more than 40 large office, industrial and R&D leases totaling 1 million square feet and valued at over $1.5 billion. These included build-to-suit and lease purchase options.
Significant matters include representing the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in conjunction with construction and design agreements for interior and restaurant spaces. Another transaction involved representing the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in the construction and design of a $650-million modification of its existing museum campus into a single-story, 300,000 square-foot facility.
Levin has been named a Los Angeles Times Commercial Real Estate Visionary and an Outstanding Young Lawyer by the Real Property Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
These are some of the reasons why Elizabeth Levin received Connect CRE’s 2025 California Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
