Represented a hospitality client with buying and rehabbing 386,000 square feet

Jon Frank is the managing partner of Snell & Wilmer’s Orange County office and co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, where he has spent over 25 years advising clients on commercial real estate transactions.

He represents buyers and sellers in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and redevelopment across asset classes, including hotels and resorts, multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office, industrial, and life sciences facilities.

Matters include advising Cryogene, Inc. in two groundbreaking life sciences projects: a 30,000-square-foot biorepository facility and a strategic lease and development agreement with Moffitt Cancer Center. Frank also advised J Street Hospitality on its acquisition and redevelopment of Tower 180, a 386,000-square-foot Class A office tower in downtown San Diego, which has been converted into a mixed-use property.

Frank and his wife, Christy, cofounded Magical Builders™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. For the past 20 years, Magical Builders has managed the construction and renovation of numerous charitable facilities nationwide. Other community endeavors include serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast.

He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America.

These are some of the reasons why Jon Frank received Connect CRE’s 2025 California Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
