Christianne Kerns
Is the firm’s first CEO and female Managing Partner
Spends many hours in community service and leadership roles
Christianne Kerns is the first CEO and female Managing Partner of Hahn & Hahn. In this role, she is responsible for strategy and firm leadership, which includes developing, implementing, and driving organizational goals, procedures, and policies; managing all aspects of the firm’s operations; and overseeing business development.
Under Kerns’ leadership, the firm has transitioned from an elite, white-shoe boutique entity to earning certification as a majority Women-Owned Business from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), with more than 85% of personnel identifying as women and/or members of traditionally marginalized groups.
She also maintains her legal practice, advising management teams to identify and proactively mitigate risk, achieve financial sustainability, manage legal and regulatory compliance, discreetly resolve sensitive internal challenges, and develop high-level, long-term solutions that benefit all stakeholders.
Kerns has served on the Board of Directors of Five Acres, sits on the boards of the Hastings Foundation, and is a member of Pepperdine University’s Advisory Board.
Kerns is a member of the committee spearheading the First Generation Professionals Program at the University of Southern California law school. She has served as a commissioner for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority for four years and as a board member at Villa Esperanza Services.
These are some of the reasons why Christianne Kerns received Connect CRE’s 2025 California Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
