Kayla Shively is the founder and owner of Churchill Shively. She oversees complex legal matters, including reviewing property titles to address utility maintenance and easement obligations, as well as drafting and negotiating agreements for developers.
Shively served as a tenant representative negotiator for a Charlotte, NC fitness studio, while guiding a nonprofit organization through a land swap in Gastonia, NC. She has used her expertise to mentor other women and legal professionals, advocating for greater representation and opportunities in the field.
She is a board member of Least Of These Carolinas (LOTC) and the Christian Business Chamber. Shivley is also a longstanding member of CREW, having previously co-chaired the Student Outreach Committee for the Charlotte Chapter and served on the CREW Network scholarship selection committees.
These are some of the reasons why Kayla Shively received Connect CRE’s 2025 Atlanta & Southeast Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
