Henry “Butch” Bailey, Jr. is a member of Clark Hill PLC. He assists clients with zoning, land use, and development matters, including rezonings, use permits, complex site plans, variances, and development agreements. Bailey drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements and related documents for institutional landlords, tenants, developers and real estate investment funds.
A former city planner with a degree in land use and city planning, Bailey’s notable matters include representing a client in negotiations with county officials on a development slated to add $5 billion to the local economy. He also led negotiations with Brookhaven’s city council members on the redevelopment of an office building into a mixed-use multifamily project.
Other representation projects include warehouse, data center and hotel rezonings.
