Kayla Evans
Helped save a workforce housing investor $200,000 in annual insurance costs
Leader with the company’s Real Estate/Hospitality practice group
Kayla Evans sources new opportunities as a Client Executive within Marsh McLennan Agency’s Real Estate/Hospitality Practice Group. She plays a hands-on role in the annual servicing of her book of business.
She also educates investors on how market conditions impact their portfolios and how to best insure assets while ensuring adequate coverage, lender compliance, and cost efficiencies. She frequently manages carrier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships with her clients, negotiating renewal terms and advocating for them. She also works with her internal team to ensure clients’ needs and expectations are being met.
Evans recently worked with a large workforce housing investor, assisting them with re-evaluating their insurance programs before refinancing two assets. Through her due diligence, Evans saved the client $200,000 in annual insurance costs while providing more comprehensive coverage. She is on track to become a principal in 2027.
She is a leader with Marsh McLennan’s Real Estate/Hospitality practice group, volunteers on their Barney & Barney Foundation Committee that provides over $100,000 in grants to nonprofits throughout California, and mentors two new producers. She has also been active with the Brotherhood Crusade.
Evans is active with CREW Los Angeles, growing membership from 92 members to 126 members in one year. She is on CREW LA’s Board of Directors and is a CREW Network’s Hospitality Council member.
These are a few reasons we chose Kayla Evans as one of Connect CRE California’s 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a vital influence on the commercial real estate industry.
