Alexander Harrold serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Director of Industrial at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services. In this position, he leads the industrial division and specializes in advisory consulting and nationwide disposition of industrial properties. Harrold manages a team of brokers who service top developers, REITs, and private clients.

He helped launch Matthews’ Industrial Division, which has grown by nearly 300% since 2020. Harrold recruits and trains junior brokers, sets the industrial group’s vision, mentors and grows internal industrial services, and hosts global industrial networking events. He leads the company’s award-winning sales coaching and internship program and hosts several real estate training programs through national broadcasts and summer programs.

Notable transactions included a $22-million deal with Builder’s FirstSource (Washington), a $22-million FedEx Ground deal (Indiana) and a $17.5-million transaction in connection with Amazon (Iowa). The Los Angeles Business Journal nominated his $12-million transaction for the Commerce Portfolio for Industrial Deal of the Year.

Accolades include Matthews’ Top Producer National, CoStar Power Broker Award, Matthews’ Circle of Excellence (as one of the top three national producers) and Los Angeles Business Journal’s CRE Rookie of the Year.

Beyond the office, Harrold contributes to Matthews’ Social Corporate Responsibility program through local and national fundraisers and volunteer events. He is also an active member of Boys & Girls Club America and Habitat for Humanity.
