Laura Velasco launched her career more than 12 years ago in a luxury model home merchandising for a Newport Beach design firm. She then moved into commercial design, eventually opening her firm, Level Up Interiors. The full-service company specializes in high-end multifamily and commercial design.

Velasco is well-known for her dedication to building lasting relationships with local suppliers and contractors. She also provides internship opportunities and business advice to college students and other women in the industry. Velasco invests and partners in other ancillary business ventures.

A first-generation American, Velasco obtained a bachelor’s degree in interior design and served as an operations specialist in the U.S. Army National Guard. She regularly volunteers for and assists with military events and activities.

These are just a few reasons we chose Laura Velasco as one of the California Connect CRE’s 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners.
