As a real estate partner with Cox, Castle & Nicholson, Andrea Saunders Rifenbark is a leading transactional attorney focusing on real estate investment, development and finance. In her practice, Rifenbark structures, negotiates, and documents real estate acquisitions and dispositions across all real estate asset types. She also analyzes, designs, negotiates and documents joint venture transactions, including separate accounts, platform joint ventures, single asset ventures and development projects.
Recent highlights include the representation of a pension fund investor in the negotiation and formation of a JV platform in a series of joint ventures structured as Luxembourg LLCs with a European industrial developer. She also structured a $600-million joint venture investment with a student housing developer to acquire, develop, lease and operate student housing projects.
Rifenbark is co-chair of Cox Castle’s Skills Development Committee and is chair of the Women’s Attorneys Affinity Group. She is also a member of the firm’s Marketing, Business Development and Recruiting Committees and participates in the company’s Partner/Associate Mentor Program. Rifenbark also had an observer role on Cox Castle’s Management Committee.
Outside of her work responsibilities, Rifenbark is a member of the Executive Committee and the Planning Committee of the USC Gould School of Law Real Estate Law and Business Forum and NMHC.
