Built one of Boston's largest permitting and land-use groups

Launched the company's Energy, Infrastructure & Climate change group

As partner and leader of Sullivan & Worcester’s Permitting and Land Use Practice, Jennifer Schultz built one of Boston’s largest permitting and land use groups. Under Schultz’s skilled leadership, the group grew from two attorneys at the beginning of 2021 to 12 full-time attorneys, two paralegals and two administrators today.

Schultz also launched Sullivan’s Energy, Infrastructure & Climate Change interdisciplinary practice group, housing over one dozen highly talented attorneys with extensive experience in land use, energy, private equity, technology, intellectual property and finance.

Significant projects include the one-million-square-foot former Boston Globe building into a life sciences hub and working with CenterCourt Partners on three sites adjacent to the building for a proposed 1.5-million-square-foot master-planned development.

Schultz provides career guidance and leadership for legal and real estate women. She is a long-time member of the Boston chapter of CREW and a member of NAIOP’s Government Affairs Committee. Before beginning her law practice, Schultz worked on Senator Barbara Boxer’s Senate campaign and was the president of the San Francisco Chapter of the National Organization for Women.

Professional accolades include Business Today’s Top-10 Massachusetts Influencers in Real Estate Zoning and Land Use; Next Generation Partner, The Legal 500 U.S.; Boston Magazine’s Top Lawyers, Land Use Environment and Rising Star, Massachusetts Super Lawyers.

These are just a few reasons we chose Jennifer Schultz as one of the Boston & New England Connect CRE 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
