Erin Orpik
Oversees 3 million square feet in assets worth $2.5 billion
Offers expertise in adaptive reuse to life science occupancy
Since Erin Orpik joined Related Beal nearly 20 years ago as an assistant property manager, her consistent growth, can-do attitude, and ability to take on numerous responsibilities have made her one of the company’s most invaluable employees. Today, Orpik is a vice president in charge of asset and property management at the firm, overseeing 3 million square feet in assets worth $2.5 billion.
Orpik has developed authoritative expertise in complex adaptive reuse to life science occupancy and is responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in redevelopment activity. This has created over $1 billion in asset value by converting 2 million square feet of space into life science uses.
She also led Related Beal’s expertise in serving lab tenants’ needs through managing complex property improvements. Under Orpik’s leadership, Related Beal has served as the “turn-key” construction manager for 2 million square feet in tenant fit-ups. Orpik has been involved with some of Greater Boston’s most innovative and prolific developments, including the Innovation and Design Building, One Kendall Square, 451 D Street, Innovation Square, Lovejoy Wharf and Ledgermont Center.
These are just a few reasons we chose Erin Orpik as one of the Boston & New England Connect CRE 2023 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and play key mentorship roles for others.
