As a partner with Seyfarth, Rich Mendelson represents domestic and international insurance companies and banks, public pension funds (and their advisors), private equity funds, and significant family-owned real estate companies in all matters relating to commercial property.

Notable assignments have included representing LBA Realty in multiple transactions totaling over $4.3 billion and working on behalf of a client in a $922.2-million acquisition and financing of a six-property portfolio of ground-leased warehouse buildings.

Mendelson has been recognized in the Top 10 Real Estate Lawyers in Southern California 2023 by Business Today and as a Tier 2 Real Estate Lawyer in Southern California by Chambers U.S.A. The Legal 500, Southern California Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America also recognized him.

He’s a Pension Real Estate Association and Urban Land Institute member. Mendelson also was a trustee for the Western Region of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Mendelson received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
