A partner in DLA Piper’s Los Angeles Real Estate practice, Kyndra Casper is the firm’s foremost partner in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an essential part of land use practice in California. Casper handles all stages of the entitlement and development process, including project management, obtaining development entitlements, land use due diligence, administrative proceedings, the legislative process and litigation.
Notable highlights include representing 1HWY1 LLC in the Seaport San Diego Project and representing Isabel Portola Owner LLC in developing a 46-acre property in Livermore, CA, into a mixed residential and commercial development. She also obtained unanimous approval from the City Planning Commission of the City of Los Angeles for the Echelon Studios at 5601 Santa Monica Boulevard project, a 600,000-square-foot production studio creative office campus.
She is on the board of directors of Friends of Hollywood Central Park and the Glendale Humane Society. Casper is recognized by The Legal 500 United States and Chambers U.S.A.
Casper earned her J.D. from the Southwestern University School of Law.
