Counsels clients in land use entitlement matters

Member of the firm's Renewable Energy practice

Robert (Robbie) Hull is an Associate with Cox, Castle & Nicholson. In his role, he focuses on land use, natural resources and environmental law matters across various industries, including renewable energy and urban development. He has assisted clients in developing housing and mixed-used projects, commercial projects, and renewable energy projects.

Hull plays a crucial role in counseling clients through the land use entitlement process in the areas of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), State Planning and Zoning Law, the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act, and other state and federal laws related to land use and resource issues.

He is a valued member of the firm’s Renewable Energy practice, which handles solar, wind and battery storage projects. In 2022, Hull assisted with the entitlement of over 1,000 megawatts (MW) of new solar energy and battery storage projects, as well as the financing of approximately 2,000 MW of previously approved solar projects.

He was selected as a California Super Lawyer and Northern California Super Lawyer in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

These are just a few reasons we chose Robert Hull as one of Connect CRE California’s 2023 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
