Helped grow transactions to more than $1 billion in 2022

Selected by ICSC as part of its Next Generation Leadership Network

Since Daniel Tyner joined the JLL West Coast retail capital markets team in 2018, he has helped the team grow from $350 million in annual transaction volume to more than $1 billion in volume during 2022.

A large part of this growth is through Tyner’s unique ability to manufacture opportunities others have missed through leveraging rooftop marketing activity, regularly hosting client events and activities and sourcing off-market transactions.

Tyner furthered his involvement in the CRE industry by hosting a quarterly event in Southern California in partnership with  institutional retail owners Festival Companies and Sterling Organization. The event, which attracts up to 200 attendees, connects owners, tenants, operators and brokers so they can share information about changes in the industry.

As JLL senior director, Tyner was one of 70 individuals selected nationally by ICSC to be part of its Next Generation Leadership Network for 2022-2024. He was named a Young Leader on the greater JLL West Coast Retail Team and has been a Leader of the Candidate Hiring Committee in the JLL Orange County office since 2021.

These are just a few reasons we chose Daniel Tyner as one of Connect CRE California’s 2023 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
